Another Tough Installation Job!
Word must be out on the streets that Elite Framing is the place for folks in South Carolina to call for tough artwork installations. We recently did this job, hanging a six panel folding Oriental privacy screen. Each panel measured 18" x 72"! altogether it measured nine feet wide by six feet high! Acrylic on Paper
Most times we see acrylic and oil paintings they are on stretched canvas or boards. Occasionally we will see one on paper, like this one. We ended up matting and glassing this landscape, treating it like you would a watercolor. We used a grey mat and a contemporary black moulding. Mardi Gras! Framed Mardi Gras Poster
Columbia celebrated Mardi Gras a few days early on Saturday March 1. This is the official poster of the event, designed and printed by Columbia's own The Half and Half, that we framed for the Krewe. We used an eggplant mat and a subtly two toned gold 2" wide moulding.
