We mounted this nice little watercolor on a teal suede matboard, raising it ever so slightly. The effect is that it is floating against the background. One lucky customer of ours went to Italy and brought back these fabulous little watercolours. We matted them in contemporary 8-ply white 100% cotton mats with thick borders.
