This nice acrylic on board is by Columbia artist Trahern Cook, it measures about 22″ by 32″. We framed it in a hand-finished Italian made olive veneer, utilizing the basic shape and straight lines to enhance the subject and style of the artwork. Nice work by the artist! Lovely frame choice by the customer!

Which Way?

Which Way?

This handmade paper art piece presented a challenge, there was no signature to let us know which way was up or down! We decided we liked it up AND down, and both sideways, too. Plus, it worked as a diamond shape, too. We attached the wiring on the back to allow the customer to hang it eight different ways! We framed it in a contemporary deep silver. This one is fun!

The Grey Handles

The Grey Handles

This one pair of pliers, most often referred to at Elite Framing as the Grey Handles, also the snips and the dykes, has been in constant use since the early 90s. We use them to pull staples, cut wire, snip cords and many other things. If pliers had odometers this pair would have turned 300,000 miles a long time ago.

Sunday at The Masters, Might Adam Scott win another Green Jacket?

Sunday at The Masters, Might Adam Scott win another Green Jacket?

Here is a great piece of golf memorabilia, an Adam Scott signed Masters flag from 2013, the year that he won the green jacket! We hand stitched the flag onto a green backing board and framed it in a gold moulding with a repeating rib pattern. We used hidden spacers to keep the glass off the flag. Will Adam Scott win a second green jacket in 2017? We shall see!
