Framed Wofford Football Jersey!

Framed Wofford Football Jersey!

Here is an authentic game-worn Wofford football jersey from 2007 that we shadowboxed in a deep black with gold lip moulding. We hand-stitched the jersey onto an old gold linen matboard. We framed the Letterman Award in the same frame, top-mounted on a black linen background.
This jersey has an exciting history for Wofford fans. It was worn by linebacker Derek Swindall in the 2007 season. Derek had to have his black Wofford jersey awarded to him because his white Wofford jersey had to be cut off him after he suffered a fractured shoulder blade while making a touchdown saving and game saving tackle on a 4th quarter kickoff return against #3 seed Montana. The game was at Montana and temperature was 13 degrees at kickoff and got colder from there! The 2007 team was a special team indeed with a season that included wins over Appalachian State, Furman and The Citadel in consecutive weeks and a run in the national playoffs all the way to the quarterfinals. Go Terriers!

Throwback Thursday! 2001 Outback Bowl! Gamecock Frame!

Throwback Thursday! 2001 Outback Bowl! Gamecock Frame!

Who remembers the 2001 Outback Bowl? Ryan Brewer was the hero, he had 200+ all purpose yards and three touchdowns for The Gamecocks against the Ohio State Buckeyes. This was seen as some redemption since Brewer was from the state of Ohio (He was Mr. Football there his senior year of high school!) and Ohio State DID NOT OFFER him a scholarship. The Gamecocks offered him! And now Ryan Brewer has his place amongst the legends of South Carolina football! We framed this newspaper photo in the Gamecock frame, Ryan Brewer autographed it himself, dedicating the inscription to one lucky Caroline!

Sunday at The Masters, Might Adam Scott win another Green Jacket?

Here is a great piece of golf memorabilia, an Adam Scott signed Masters flag from 2013, the year that he won the green jacket! We hand stitched the flag onto a green backing board and framed it in a gold moulding with a repeating rib pattern. We used hidden spacers to keep the glass off the flag. Will Adam Scott win a second green jacket in 2017? We shall see!

Linda Hartough Bethpage Black #17!

Another wonderful golf print by the world’s leading golf artist Linda Hartough, Bethpage Black #17! We matted it in a green suede with a charcoal bottom mat, complete with a drop box highlighting the remarque done by the artist on the bottom of the print. The frame is a muted pewter toned wood. This piece is lovely!

Framed $2 Bills!

Framed $2 Bills!

This was a fun (and funny) little project. Someone lost some bets on a golf course somewhere and apparently had to frame a few big wagers. We used a flat green mat and a simple black frame. Some kind of cage match!

Framed Basketball Jersey! Alex English! Made in the USA!

Framed Basketball Jersey! Alex English! Made in the USA!

NBA Hall of Famer Alex English was known for his sneaky elegance around the post, earning him the nickname “Flick” for his straight-armed shooting style allowing him to score over taller opponents. And score he did! One of our customers scored this autographed Denver Nuggets jersey from the man. We hand-stitched the jersey onto a blue suede backing board and used a 2″ black rope motif moulding for the frame. (Made in the USA!) We used hidden spacers to keep the glass off the jersey.
