Framed $2 Bills!

This was a fun (and funny) little project. Someone lost some bets on a golf course somewhere and apparently had to frame a few big wagers. We used a flat green mat and a simple black frame. Some kind of cage match!

Framed Capitol Photos! Made in the USA!

We recently framed a few photos of our nation’s capitol building to be used as presentation pieces from a local elected official. These large photos (images are about 20″ x 28″) are matted in white to allow a dedicatory inscription. We used a 2″ black with gold rope motif moulding (Made in the USA!) for a nice combination of gravitas and function. All components Made in the USA! Very nice!

We did this neat little piece as a presentation piece of diplomatic good will from the state of South Carolina! A commemorative coin paired with a hand made embossed palmetto (made by South Carolina artist Dot Goodwin!) We used a cream linen matboard and top mounted the coin and palmetto. We used hidden spacers to keep the glass off the coin and palmetto. The frame is an Italian hand finished distressed gold with repeating beaded lip. This little piece measures about 8″ x 10″.

This sweatshirt was custom made for it’s owner with his nickname and a cute little logo. We preserved it by hand stitching it onto a backing board and framing it in a deep black shadowbox moulding. The hidden spacers keep the glass off the sweatshirt. Fun!

We used black matting with a gold bottom mat and a set of three ruled gold ink lines. We then chose an Italian hand-finished gold moulding. This piece measures about 19″ x 22″. So elegant!
