We recently did this small job for some local sports fans, a newspaper article recognizing a legendary local Gamecock supporter. We used garnet suede matting and a thin black frame. We were able to cut separate mat openings for the two different pages of the newspaper to make it appear as one. Go Gamecocks!

Framed Military Photo!

This elongated (32″ wide x 8″ high!) military photograph dates to 1931. We carefully removed it from the old frame and backing that was on it and replaced the old pieces with new, clean and acid-free boards. We picked a thin dark moulding with a small repeating pattern (for scale!) and used hidden spacers to keep the glass off the photograph. Excellent!

Framed American Flag and Certificate!

We are celebrating Memorial Day today and are honoring our servicemen and servicewomen who paid the ultimate price for our freedoms. We recently put together this item for a local establishment, it is a flag that flew in the face of the enemy in Afghanistan complete with a certificate acknowledging such. We folded the flag triangularly and sewed it onto the backing board, positioning the certificate in a window mat beneath. We used a 1 1/2″ deep thin gold wood shadowbox moulding and incorporated hidden spacers to keep the glass off the flag. This piece measures about 18″ x 24″.
